Weddings are public/private events where filming and photography are an expected part of the day.

By engaging Chapter12:

  • The couple acknowledges that guests and other attendees may be recorded incidentally or directly as part of the wedding film and related media.

  • The couple agrees to inform guests in advance that filming and recording will take place.

  • The couple accepts responsibility for obtaining any permissions where required, including from venues or individuals with specific privacy concerns.

We operate on the basis of legitimate interests to capture and produce a complete and authentic record of the wedding day.

Any individual who appears in footage and has a serious and legitimate objection to its use may contact us, and we will assess requests on a case-by-case basis where reasonably possible.
